Understand I’m not angry or furious like, “OMG! This is gonna be garbage.“ Since first off this is a game trailer. And we should have all learned from cyberpunk trailers can be misleading as heck. Secondly, actual people are remaking this. To say all their work is awful from the start is rude. Especially since they probably get enough trouble from working at Konami.
Anyways moving on, my main grips are how much the story is being showed in the trailer. [Note: If you never played Silent hill 2 And worry about spoilers please don’t read. I don’t wanna ruin the experience for you.]

From the start we see James entering the bathroom looking at his hands trembling. Then he goes into saying Mary already died of a disease. That‘s too much from the start. Since new players are gonna put two and two together. Knowing James did something wrong to Mary. They even make him too guilty showing us his face/mostly eyes in the mirror. In the original we start the cut scene in the dirty bathroom looking at James face. But we can’t convey what or how he’s feeling since the lights was done to obscure his face. In fact James is a bit off to me. He should appear feeling and acting empty. He has done wrong and lost all since of purpose. He’s beyond the point of crying in my opinion.
How to fix it? Easy fix the lighting, start off with him saying he got the letter from Mary, and don’t make him look sad.
Voice acting for James isn't my favorite either. Then again I just love the original performances and worry they’ll pull a HD remake on us with. Plus I would have to hear the other cast as well. To see if it’s eerie or off to have that silent hill feel.
My other opinion, James looks like a tried/older Leon Kennedy in some shots. That’s all I see but that’s a me problem. Moving on from that point. XD
What I do like! We don’t see Angela and Eddie yet. Then again they could show their sides off in a later trailer idk. If so hopefully certain topics are handle with care like in the original game. Secondly, we only see the back of Maria. Meaning they didn’t need to spoil her significants to the plot just yet. Another things if these are what the town and monsters look like so far I enjoy it. Again though didn’t get a good view of the mannequin or lying figure. Really, like Silent hill fashion only showing off the nurses and pyramid head. Which hey it’s relevant this time so I’ll let it slide.

The oc I must give some useless facts about is Wyatt....Damn it!

1: Wyatt is the youngest of 7 children in his house. He has 4 sisters and 2 brother. Each one had a different, yet pretty mean nickname for their little brother. Yet Wyatt never mind in fact he pretty much owned up to the name calling.
2: His most popular nickname his siblings used was “Dickweed” It was his sister, Stacy who started it.
3: Seth, the fourth oldest always joked about Wyatt’s name. He would always tell Wyatt that dad named him that because when he was born dad was like, “Why it....even existed?”
4: Wyatt isn’t much of a fighter because he is weak
5: Even though his boyfriend is older than him, Wyatt is still taller at least by 2 full inches.
6: Wyatt and Jak’s dream if they were ever adults is to spend their bachelor parties in New Orleans ((Jak’s home city)) during Mardi gars. Which is a big celebration that last about two weeks and involves a ton of partying.
7: Wyatt has never met his boyfriend’s mom, stepsister, or even other members of the family. He hasn’t even met Jak’s mom’s boyfriend, James. This is because well the kids are dead. XD
8: Last Wyatt’s family excepts homosexually and support LGBT, unlike his boyfriend’s family who are radical people with a bigoted mindset ((except Jak’s mom who’s started to be more open)). Who believe being gay is a choice and a sin. So, two totally different types of families in fact they are the opposite.

characters I'm using "Hyperactive" Shooter and "Mama's little doll"
Hyperactive Shooter:
1: He believes that Slender beings are like Gods and wishes to work with atleast one of them, as a proxy.
2: His favorite Slender being is Santaman because his father works for him. Also, that Santaman is like, Zeus to all Slender beings.
3: Caesar truly only eats what he hunts and catches. Even if his mother ties to feed him with a warm meal, he would refuse to take it.
4: Deer, fish, wild barries, rodents, frogs, and possibly humans are his favorite foods.
5: his crossbow only weighs about 80 pounds. To him that is light to carry.
6: He loves to fight and wrestle around with his dad and other proxies. This is just a test of strength to him.
7: He has never watched tv in his life , and never entered a city or town.
8: He focus more on running and lifting, then flexibility.
Mama's little doll:
1: Her dolls name "Rex" came from a person's skin,who was named Rex
2: She has no interest in proxies or slender beings. She finds them way too normal.
3: She always wonders what a "normal" child life is because she is aware that her life and family isn't "normal" to societies standards.
5: Her mother protects her a lot beacuse she is her first ever daughter.
6: Reason why she likes dresssing as a doll is because dolls are beautiful, yet have a dark history of scaring people. So, she finds them perfect to represent herself as. Plus dolls are aloud to keep one facial feature, that's how she usually is.
7: she also had never watched tv or been to a city.
8: She wishes she could spend more time with her father, but doesn't know how to bring it up to him.
